The Headteacher is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic NQT / ECT Maths Teacher on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. This role is ideal for early career teachers eager to gain valuable experience in a mainstream setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Support pupils in preparing thoroughly for their GCSE Maths examinations
• Plan and deliver well-structured, stimulating lessons that inspire learning
• Implement the school s schemes of learning consistently and effectively
• Develop strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with support from experienced colleagues

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) specialising in Maths
• NQTs and ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
• Experience teaching Maths gained through training placements or prior roles
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A positive, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching
• Genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
