Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting a newly qualified Real Estate Solicitor to join a leading national firm in Milton Keynes. You will mainly handle a real estate caseload for household names across the UK, under the guidance of L500 rated partners.

You will deal with freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, development, pre-let arrangements, and portfolio re-gears, plus day-to-day estate management tasks and licensing issues. The role offers hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified solicitor with an interest in real estate law.
• Experience handling freehold and leasehold matters is advantageous.
• Able to manage a mixed real estate caseload with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold site acquisitions and disposals, development and pre-let arrangements.
• Oversee day-to-day estate management including landlord and tenant, licences, variations, easements and ancillary agreements.
• Develop awareness of operator-specific issues such as TUPE, TOGC, capital allowances and licensing/regulatory considerations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to join a leading national firm. Working with L500 rated partners, you will undertake a predominantly real estate caseload, acting for household names across the UK.

Your responsibilities will include dealing with:

• Freehold and leasehold site acquisitions and disposals, development and pre-let arrangements, and portfolio re-gears
• Day-to-day estate management including landlord and tenant, licences, variations, easements and ancillary agreements

You will also have awareness of, and an interest in operator-specific issues that sit alongside real estate, such as TUPE, TOGC, capital allowances and licensing/regulatory considerations.
