Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of an East London-based law firm seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wills & Probate/Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their team. This full-time, office-based position is suitable for newly qualified candidates or those with up to 3 years of post-qualification experience.

Company Overview: The firm is well-established and respected, specializing in conveyancing, litigation, family law, and private client services. They are expanding their private client team due to growth and are looking for a skilled Private Client Solicitor.

Role Overview: As a key member of the private client team, responsibilities include estate administration, applying for grants of representation, preparing inheritance tax returns, drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and managing Court of Protection deputyship cases. Client interaction requires a confident and empathetic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estate administration, including probate and intestacy cases
• Applying for grants of representation
• Drafting Wills and LPAs (Finance & Property, Health & Welfare)
• Managing inheritance tax returns and providing advice
• Handling Court of Protection deputyship cases
• Regular client contact with clear and sensitive advice
• Collaborating with team members

Key Requirements:

• Newly qualified or up to 3 years PQE in Private Client law
• Experience in estate administration, Will drafting, inheritance tax, and LPAs
• Understanding of relevant legislation, including the Administration of Estates Act
• Client-facing experience with professionalism and sensitivity
• Attention to detail and quality service commitment
