Job summary

Brio Leisure is hiring a part-time NPLQ Trainer Assessor to support pool site operations by conducting assessments and delivering relevant training. The role focuses on ensuring candidates meet required standards and maintaining high safety and quality during courses.

The successful candidate will coordinate course planning, maintain accurate training records, and uphold Brio Leisure policies while contributing to continuous improvement within the leisure centers.

Responsibilities

• Undertake NPLQ and NRASTC assessments for internal Brio Leisure candidates.
• Assess candidates to determine if they meet required standards and provide guidance for those not yet meeting criteria.
• Organise, coordinate and deliver NPLQ and NRASTC courses as required.
• Ensure safety and welfare of all candidates during training and assessment activities.
• Plan courses in accordance with Brio Leisure guidelines.
• Maintain training records and report defects to site management.
• Keep manikins clean and in good working order for training delivery.
• Record and report outcomes to internal and external inspectors.
• Appraise and certify candidates’ levels of achievement to monitor progress.
• Work in line with legislation, regulations and safe pool procedures.
• Stay updated with developments in the leisure industry and governing bodies.
• Follow Brio Leisure policies and report concerns to the Duty Manager.
• Undertake other duties within the scope of the post.
