NPI Production Engineer: Global Onsite Leader

Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a NPI Production Engineer for our technology client in Cambourne. This is a 12-month contract on a hybrid basis with a minimum of four days per week onsite.

You will support production floors worldwide, lead ECO changes, and collaborate with Tier 2-3 teams to deliver robust testers and processes. The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc. in Electronics and 5+ years of experience with strong hands-on hardware and cross-cultural collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering or similar is required.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar position.
• Understanding production line testers design and maintenance.
• Deep understanding of analog, digital, and RF electronics.
• Knowledge of components and assembly processes, batteries, RF, IR, testing methods, and ATE.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI Process HW/ATE/SW changes (ECO) on new and legacy products.
• Lead testers procedures for new products (test station duplication / wiring / testing / Validation/ Change & update / Support)
• Lead the product during the NPI and legacy products.
• Leads failure analysis and reliability testing on all critical aspects of product design
• Support local and worldwide production floors
• Published effectively report results to peers and management
• Collaborate with production line ATE engineers to deliver and deploy testers in production line abroad.
