Job summary

PE Global is recruiting an Engineering Project Manager for a leading pharma client in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. This 12-24 month contract requires a B.Sc. in Industrial or Electronics Engineering and 5–7 years of PM/NP I experience.

Office-based with travel and an emphasis on cross-functional collaboration across regions. The role leads end-to-end project management, coordinates teams across functional areas, maintains PLM/ERP data, and drives production readiness for new product introductions

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• At least 5–7 years in an Engineering or Operations environment with PM and NPI experience.
• Strong project management capabilities and cross-functional leadership.
• Experience with PLM/ERP systems and supplier/CMO coordination.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for new product introductions and lifecycle projects.
• Represent Operations in project teams; ensure manufacturing, quality, and regulatory requirements are met.
• Build and manage plans: scope, schedule, budget, milestones, risks, and mitigations.
• Lead matrix teams across local and global interfaces for timely execution.
• Report project status, risks, issues, decisions, and next steps to leadership.
• Support NPI activities from development to production and coordinate with CMOs/OEMs.
• Maintain engineering/operational data in PLM and ERP systems.
• Drive cross-functional problem solving and readiness activities.
