Job summary

GSK is seeking a Process Engineer (NPI) for Q Block to provide hands-on engineering leadership to introduce, scale-up and manufacture new products while ensuring equipment readiness, reliability and GMP compliance. You will work with Operations, Quality, Validation, MSAT and Engineering to support trials, transfers and early-life manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering and technical leadership in GMP environments.
• Experience supporting NPI, validation, technical transfer or operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support new product introduction within Q Block, coordinating with Operations, Quality, Validation, MSAT and Engineering to ensure equipment readiness.
• Provide technical oversight and hands-on engineering support during product introduction, process trials, engineering runs and early-life manufacturing support.
• Act as engineering representative for Q Block NPI, embedding maintainability, operability and compliance in transfer and launch planning.
• Lead engineering technician activities aligned to NPI milestones, planning, prioritisation and risk communication.
• Escalate technical issues impacting equipment readiness, process execution, reliability or timelines.
• Assist development, review and execution of GMP documentation ensuring equipment and maintenance standards meet quality and safety requirements.
• Coordinate change control for Q Block NPI, ensuring changes are assessed, approved, implemented and closed in line with GMP and validation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support successful product launch, ramp-up and transition to routine manufacture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability across Q Block using learning from NPI.
