Cubed Talent client in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to own a defined manufacturing area and drive improvements across NPI, process development, equipment, productivity, quality and manufacturing performance.

You will lead projects from concept through to implementation, collaborate with Production, Quality, Design and external suppliers, and ensure processes are efficient, safe, capable and aligned with customer and business requirements.

Formación

2+ years in process/manufacturing/production engineering, ideally in automotive Tier 1 or high-volume environments.
Experience applying APQP, PFMEA, Six Sigma and SPC methodologies.
Knowledge of process development, workstation design and production cell layouts.
Proven ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

Plan, implement, and monitor new product and product variant introductions.
Apply APQP methodologies throughout the NPI process.
Develop and optimise manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and process controls.
Define requirements for new manufacturing equipment and collaborate with stakeholders.
Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and PDCA.
Improve capacity, cycle times, OEE, quality and overall process efficiency.
Drive reductions in scrap and rework; ensure safety improvements.
Manage engineering and process changes per procedures and quality systems.
Provide technical support to production teams and implement corrective actions.
Participate in design reviews for DFM and DFA and manage supplier relationships.
