Job summary
Motorola Solutions in Cambridge, UK is seeking a Manufacturing Operations & NPI Engineer to drive new product introductions and optimise production processes across our RF hardware platforms. You will lead manufacturing readiness, develop processes and work instructions, support DFMA reviews, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to transfer designs to manufacturing.
Strong background in Lean, quality engineering, supplier quality and SolidWorks is required; you will monitor
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production or Industrial Engineering.
- 5+ years in Manufacturing, Production or NPI Engineering.
- Experience in supplier quality management and development.
- Quality engineering in a manufacturing environment and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead NPI readiness activities for new product introductions.
- Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions and SOPs.
- Apply Lean methods and monitor KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Support DFMA reviews and smooth transfer from design to manufacturing.
