Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Coventry is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the introduction of new products, optimise processes and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will improve CNC milling and turning, develop process documentation, and collaborate with Quality, Tooling, and Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time delivery and the required quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Manufacturing Engineer in precision engineering or CNC machining.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience creating process documentation and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and improve manufacturing processes across CNC operations.
• Support NPI and production launches.
• Create and maintain SOPs and process documents.
• Conduct process capability studies and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyse production data to drive efficiency and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies.
