Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Oxford is seeking an NPI Lead Engineer to drive New Product Introduction projects, coordinating engineering and manufacturing deliverables with a focus on planning and execution. You will guide teams across projects, supporting an intern and resolving complex challenges to move products into production.

You'll apply DFM principles, manage program milestones and collaborate with multiple functions to deliver robust manufacturing processes and successful product

Qualifications

• Experience with New Product Introduction in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of DFM principles and translating them into robust processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis.
• Ability to take ownership of plans and deliverables while guiding others.
• Good project-management and organisational skills, including prioritisation and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, monitoring and delivery of engineering activities across NPI projects.
• Own key manufacturing deliverables including tooling, NCs, BIs, MBOMs and PFMEAs.
• Manage the problem tracker during product launches with clear ownership and next steps.
• Collaborate with Lead Engineer and wider team to resolve technical problems.
• Diagnose root causes of issues and develop practical solutions.
• Identify blockers and risks early and mitigate them with the team.
• Coordinate project activities across teams without formal line-management authority.
• Coach and develop colleagues, including supporting an intern.
• Manage project plans, milestones and PDP-aligned deliverables.
• Communicate progress and risks clearly to stakeholders.
