Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Manager Engineering (New Product Introduction) to join the Industrial Fume Extraction team in Poole. You will lead a multidisciplinary group through product definition, design, validation and industrialisation, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

Travel may be required to support customers and supplier networks, with a focus on strategic engineering capability and roadmap execution.

Qualifications

Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
Significant engineering leadership experience.
Experience leading high-performing teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Bridging commercial and technical communications.

Responsibilities

Recruit, develop, engage, and lead a high-performing team of project managers and engineering professionals.
Oversee workload capacity and forward-looking capacity planning.
Coordinate with sales, manufacturing, procurement, marketing, and quality for alignment.
Define product roadmaps with market and technology insights.
Translate business objectives into engineering deliverables and plans.
Lead design, verification, validation, traceability, and release decisions.
Own the stage-gate process and ensure on-time, on-cost delivery.
Develop and maintain KPIs to measure team impact.
