Job summary

Donaldson Company is seeking a Manager Engineering (New Product Introduction) in Poole to drive development and delivery of innovative filtration products. You will lead a multidisciplinary team through product definition, design, validation and industrialisation, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.

The role shapes engineering strategy, capability development and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent qualification.
Significant experience in engineering leadership and managing high-performing teams.
Willingness to undertake occasional domestic and international travel.
Experience bridging commercial and technical functions.

Responsibilities

Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing project/engineering team.
Oversee capacity planning to scale with growth and optimize talent utilization.
Coordinate with sales, manufacturing, procurement, marketing, quality to drive alignment.
Define product roadmaps with market needs and technology trends.
Develop business cases for new product development.
Translate objectives into clear engineering plans with scope and timelines.
Lead design, verification and validation with traceability.
