Job summary

The Redline Group Ltd is partnering with a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit a Contract NPI Engineer - Electro Mechanical for an on-site, full-time role in Fareham, Hampshire. You will drive new product introduction from prototype to manufacturing release, developing instructions and tooling while collaborating with engineering, quality and production teams.

The ideal candidate has proven NPI experience in electro-mechanical environments, hands-on assembly, testing

Qualifications

• Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Experience taking products from prototype or pilot build through to manufacturing release.
• Strong electro-mechanical assembly, testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience producing manufacturing documentation including work instructions, tooling and process documentation.

Job description

The Redline Group is working with a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation to support their search for a Contract NPI Engineer - Electro Mechanical. We are looking for someone who is available to start as soon as possible and can be onsite full time in Fareham, Hampshire.

Our customer designs and manufactures specialist electronic and computing solutions used in demanding environments. Due to ongoing product development activity, they require an experienced Contract NPI Engineer to support the validation and introduction of new products into manufacturing.

The successful Contract NPI Engineer will be responsible for managing NPI activities from prototype and pilot build stages through to manufacturing release. This will include developing work instructions, supporting prototype builds, creating tooling and fixtures, validating manufacturing processes, and working closely with engineering, quality and production teams.

Key Skills Required - Contract NPI Engineer - Electro Mechanical:

• Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
• Experience taking products from prototype or pilot build through to manufacturing release
• Strong electro-mechanical assembly, testing and troubleshooting experience

This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.
