Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd is partnering with an award-winning technology business in Harrogate to hire an experienced NPI Engineer. You will support new and legacy products from design through to full-scale production, collaborating with Engineering and Factory teams.

Key duties include building prototypes and tooling, maintaining the factory database and production software, creating firmware image packages, and helping ensure certifications.

Qualifications

• Strong database knowledge, ideally MS SQL Server.
• Programming experience in C#, Embedded C or Java.
• Experience or understanding of firmware development.
• A strong grasp of the full product lifecycle.
• Exposure to high-volume production environments; LabVIEW experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Building and testing prototypes, including modifications.
• Designing and maintaining custom manufacturing tools and solutions.
• Supporting and maintaining the factory database and production software.
• Creating firmware image packages for production and samples.
• Overseeing daily manufacturing processes and ensuring product certification.
