Are you a Product Development Technologist with experience in the food manufacturing industry looking to join a successful & continually expanding company with a global reach? This role offers a challenging and fast-paced innovative environment.

The role involves working alongside the Technical Manager, Head of Innovation, and development Chefs to deliver new products from conception to launch globally, emphasizing food safety, quality, and market trends.

THE ROLE:

1. Deliver new products & customer launches to market
2. Ensure ingredient/product information accuracy in the NPD system
3. Understand project critical paths and manage deviations
4. Build relationships with manufacturers, understand capabilities, and collaborate on product development and launches
5. Coordinate sample requests, oversee product processes, and conduct evaluations
6. Generate compliant product labelling
7. Support continuous improvement through innovative ideas and cost-saving opportunities
8. Generate project documentation
9. Assist with sample sending for various requests
10. Investigate food trends and competitor activity

THE PERSON:

1. BSc in Food Science/Technology or similar with relevant experience
2. Proficient in Excel and computer skills
3. Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
5. Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. Interest in food trends and market awareness
