We are seeking a senior technician in biosciences who will work with a team of technicians, researchers, and academics in the Health Tech Hub at UWE, Bristol. The facility comprises laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment for assay development, sensor research, and prototype design. The role involves contributing to research outputs on projects related to biosensors, diagnostics, and health monitoring technologies.
You must be enthusiastic and committed to working with a team to perform research aimed at creating new healthcare solutions. You should have a degree in biosciences or equivalent experience, along with high-level technical skills in your specialist area. Experience with biochemical and immunochemical methodologies, data analysis skills, and a flexible approach to challenges are essential.
This role is based at our lively Frenchay campus, equipped with the latest facilities to support staff and students.

This is a 1-year fixed-term, full-time position, available on a job share basis for part-time applicants. The role is campus-based, integral to our vibrant university environment.
