Job Description

We're looking for someone to support all product development activities within our chilled range categories. You will ensure the End-to-End processes for Existing Product Development (EPD) and New Product Development (NPD) are completed on time and in full.

You’ll be part of the full Concept to Launch process, analyzing category data to identify opportunities for Morrisons, staying updated on market trends to ensure our products are best in class. You will conduct regular benchmarking sessions to ensure targets are met. The role is primarily based at Greenside manufacturing site, with occasional meetings at Morrisons Head Office in Bradford and visits to other sites and suppliers. There may also be occasional weekend work during peak seasons.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the concept to launch process
2. Assist the NPD Specialist and Manager in delivering the Site Product Development Plan
3. Participate in customer research listening groups and debriefs
4. Provide concise category analysis using trusted data sources
5. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure chilled products are best in class
6. Work with technical experts to maintain quality standards for all Morrisons ranges

About you:

You should have a passion for food and an eye for detail. Knowledge of the chilled market and experience in food development are preferred. Strong relationship-building skills are essential to connect and influence stakeholders across the business. Enthusiasm, drive, and commercial judgment are key qualities.
