The role involves managing cross-functional teams to implement development plans focusing on quality, cost, and timescale across brand/own label for the European Pork & Seafood Divisions. Working closely with relevant functions to meet customer and site expectations, from concept to launch, with ownership of critical path generation.

1. Deliver the prioritized work program across categories as directed by the Development Manager.
2. Ensure agreed NPD project milestones are met on approved projects.
3. Represent the department at NPD meetings.
4. Ensure timely availability of new product samples and factory costs for presentations.
5. Communicate effectively with relevant customers to align processes and respond to their needs.
6. Coordinate with marketing, operations, packaging, finance, etc., to deliver projects on time and within budget.
7. Source ingredients and manage costs to support budgets.
8. Stay updated on food industry trends and innovations.
9. Demonstrate food knowledge to internal and external stakeholders.
10. Provide necessary information for finance, packaging, technical, and operations, including running trials.
11. Evaluate and report on competitors’ products.
12. Mentor junior team members or have direct report responsibilities as directed.
