Job description

Due to significant ££ investment and NPD activities on a large, world-class manufacturing site, we have a recruitment drive for a NPD Process Specialist.

About The Role

They are proud to produce and manufacture many of their own food products, helping them stay close to their customers' needs. You'll be part of an exciting team that creates delicious food products. Whether it's innovating new items or perfecting existing ones, your work will have a direct impact on our customers’ tables.

As a key player in their product development team, you’ll take ownership of process development projects. From concept ideas to launching in stores, you’ll oversee the process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time. Additionally, you will manage key factory process settings to ensure products are manufactured to the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Own the Process: Lead the development journey, ensuring each step is delivered with care.
  2. Communicate Effectively: Keep all stakeholders, from retail teams to suppliers, informed about project progress.
  3. Manage Timelines: Oversee project timelines and tasks to ensure on-schedule delivery.
  4. Attention to Detail: Ensure all documentation complies with regulations and maintains consistency.
  5. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with colleagues to turn product briefs into reality, exceeding customer expectations.
  6. Work with Suppliers: Source raw materials, collaborate, and handle paperwork to keep projects moving.
  7. Factory Involvement: Coordinate factory trials and oversee initial production runs for quality and consistency.
  8. Process Management: Manage factory line settings to uphold high-quality standards.

About You

  • Exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management experience, especially in Process control / NPD, from concept to launch.
  • Relationship-building skills with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
