Job summary

JRL Group is seeking a Plasma/CNC Operator for a fabrication factory in Nottingham. Hours are 07:00am - 17:00pm, Monday to Friday. You should have right to work in the UK and own transport is ideal due to the remote location.

Responsibilities include operating plasma cutting machines, setting up and adjusting settings, monitoring output, and inspecting finished products. Requirements include experience with hand tools, ability to read drawings, basic math, tooling knowledge, attention to detail,

Qualifications

Experience using hand tools and assembling components.
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret measurements.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Knowledge of tooling and machining processes.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Good problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues.
Physical stamina to stand and work for long periods.

Responsibilities

Operate plasma cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications.
Set up and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
Monitor machine operation and adjust as needed to ensure quality output.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
