Job summary

JRL Group Holdings Ltd is seeking a Plasma / CNC Operator for a fabrication factory in Nottingham. Working hours are 07:00–17:00, Monday to Friday. You will operate plasma cutting machines, set up and adjust machines, monitor performance and ensure quality output.

Candidates should have hands-on tool experience, the ability to read drawings, and good problem-solving skills. Interview process will be conducted before starting; right to work in the UK and own transport are preferred due to the

Qualifications

Experience using hand tools and assembling components.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Knowledge of tooling and machining processes.
Attention to detail and precision.
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine issues.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.

Responsibilities

Operate plasma cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications.
Set up and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality output.
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
