Job summary

Hlp Design is recruiting a Qualified Architect for our Nottingham office. The role requires strong design and technical delivery skills, plus project management across a range of schemes. The successful candidate will have 5+ years post RIBA Part 3 experience and a track record managing projects up to £15m.

Qualified Architect (Minimum 5 Years Post RIBA Part 3 Experience)

Our Nottingham office is currently seeking a Qualified Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in design, technical delivery, and project management. We’re looking for someone who thrives when working across a range of projects and workstreams. This role would particularly suit an individual looking to progress towards a future management position within the practice.

Candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm and a flair for design, alongside a proven ability to deliver high-quality work.

Key Skills And Attributes

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary design team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Organised, imaginative, and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
• Working knowledge of ArchiCAD is desirable, but not necessary
• A creative and analytical approach to problem-solving
• Experience managing projects up to £15m in value (including both traditional and Design & Build contracts)
