Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Site Manager for our Norwich operations. You will deliver site work safely and efficiently with a focus on quality, time and cost, working with teams and stakeholders to drive successful projects.

The role involves coordinating SHEQ performance, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring activities align with tender allowances. A full driving licence and CDM knowledge are required, with a medium-risk Confined Spaces certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience within the water, civils or construction industry.
• Sound commercial and contractual awareness.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
• Full driving licence and Confined Spaces - Medium risk certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage SHEQ performance across projects and drive a positive safety culture.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and coordinate site-based supervisors and delivery teams.
• Ensure construction activities comply with scheme deliverables and tender allowances.
• Work with Resource Manager to coordinate direct labour and supply chain.
• Procure plant, materials and specialist subcontractors to meet project requirements and deadlines.
