KMC Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading construction equipment company for a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager role in North England. You will drive new business, manage key accounts and expand revenue across the region.

The ideal candidate has proven BDM or Sales Manager experience in construction, strong communication and presentation skills, and holds a full UK driving licence. This is a full-time, permanent position with ongoing training and career development

Qualifications

Experience in a BDM or Sales Manager role.
Experience selling into the construction sector.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities within the construction industry.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, plant hire companies, developers and key decision-makers.
Manage and grow an existing customer base while winning new accounts.
Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and close sales.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer service excellence.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
