Job summary

William Henry Associates represents an established, rapidly growing specialist manufacturer of water pumps supplying the plumbing and heating merchant sector across the UK. We are seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager to own the Northern territory and develop presence among national and independent plumbing & heating merchants.

This field-based role requires building relationships, growing revenue, delivering product presentations, and maintaining accurate forecasts across the North of England.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales experience
• Experience selling to plumbers' or builders' merchants
• Strong understanding of the UK merchant/distribution channel

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with national and independent plumbing & heating merchants
• Grow sales across the territory and achieve revenue/margin targets
• Develop existing accounts and win new merchant accounts
• Build relationships with branch managers, buyers and senior decision-makers
• Increase product awareness in merchant branches and provide product knowledge
