Asda Stores Ltd in Llandudno is seeking a Non-Food Manager to lead the George and GM departments. You will drive availability and high shop floor standards through effective execution, seasonal events and in-store theatre while ensuring safety and legal compliance for customers and colleagues.

You will develop teams, drive trading activity, and coach staff to sell with heart and pride, creating a culture of ownership and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in retail.
• Operational knowledge on non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change.
• Strong organisational skills and customer service.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy into action: Planning and executing all trading activity on the shopfloor, delivering great availability standards, key metrics and KRAs through routine and processes.
• Lead with impact: Engaging and coaching your team to constantly improve routine and process whilst creating a culture of selling our customers with personality, serving with heart and pride, and get one more item in every basket.
• Results-focused: Ensuring shopfloor and promotional activity is landed to brief and on time to drive the store selling agenda by ensuring products are clearly labelled and displayed to promote sell through.
• Talent Development: Listen with empathy, driving resilience and encourage ownership, focus and passion for the business by bringing the Asdaness to work everyday and supporting the development of the team and creating an environment where people feel valued, trusted, and motivated to step up.
