Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a non-commercial research coordinator to join the Research and Development team on a 23-month fixed term contract or secondment.

You will help develop a comprehensive coordinated service for all research across the Trust, improve processes, build relationships with staff in other organisations and within NNUH, monitor study setup times against targets and drive improvements to recruitment and performance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a research support environment within the NHS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Experience in line management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate necessary procedures to enable non-commercial research studies to take place.
• Attend specialty meetings, raise the profile of key performance indicators and support researchers to promote NNUH as an attractive research partner
• Propose and implement improvements in systems, processes and communications to facilitate growth of NNUH research
• Identify opportunities and ways to improve processes ensuring continuous improvement in achievement of national targets for recruitment numbers, recruitment to time and target etc.
