Job summary

SPD Development Company Limited is seeking a Clinical Research Administrator to support and monitor clinical studies within the broader programme, ensuring compliance with study protocols and GCP. Based in Bedford, this fixed-term role runs for 12 months from January 2027 and offers a salary between £30,000 and £35,000 plus benefits and a bonus.

You will handle study setup, supplies, volunteer recruitment, data tracking, and payments, while maintaining inspection-ready documentation and liaising

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Experience with clinical studies and Right to Work in the UK is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set-up activities, including sourcing study supplies and packaging.
• Track study status, input into conduct meetings, and report progress.
• Support volunteer recruitment, printing, collation, packing and payments.
• Administer and record volunteer payments and maintain inspection-ready docs.
• Support study team meetings and documentation across the programme.
