Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in Worcester is seeking a Research Support Facilitator to support feasibility, set-up and delivery of the NIHR Clinical Research portfolio across the Trust.

The role requires excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills, with experience in clinical research or project management. You will collaborate with Sponsors, Clinical Trials Units and local teams to enable swift study openings and compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project management or research capacity.
• Proven ability to plan and manage organisational change.
• Experience producing formal written reports and presenting results.
• Experience supervising a team and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for the Trust's research teams and clinical leads for study setup, conduct, delivery and management.
• Provide the AAC (Assessment, Arrangement and Confirmation) of Capacity and Capability for new studies.
• Facilitate feasibility discussions and site identification, ensuring required forms are completed and targets met.
• Arrange feasibility meetings with clinicians, staff and sponsors to enable study start and site initiation.
• Support NIHR processes, governance and regulatory requirements across the Trust.
