Job summary

Medway NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an ED NCSW who shares our ambition to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People. The post holder will support Registered nurses and Clinical Support workers in line with Emergency Department competencies, under supervision of the Operational Support Coordinator/Nurse in Charge.

Based in the Emergency Department, the role may require cover across areas as service needs dictate.

Job description

We are recruiting for a ED NCSW who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff., The post holder will work under the supervision of the Operational Support Coordinator/ Nurse in Charge and other registered staff at all times

The post holder will be required to provide support to Registered nurses and Clinical Support workers in accordance with Emergency Department based competencies

The post will be based within the Emergency Department but some flexibility may be required to cover areas as and when required when service needs dictate

The role operates on a rotational shift pattern, consisting of 12 hour shifts, including days, weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility and resilience are essential, as no two days are the same in Emergency Care.
