Job summary

Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking a capable nurse to support nurse managers by acting as a named nurse within the division, coordinating assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. The post holder will be a clinically credible practitioner delivering high quality patient care across ED and acute medicine settings, while upholding policies and an evidence base for nursing practice.

• Competency in extended ED/acute medicine roles including patient triage, wound care, phlebotomy and cannulation.

Job description

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the nurse managers in providing high quality care. He/she will be prepared to work within the division as a named nurse, within a team taking responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care.

The post holder will be a clinically credible practitioner who can provide effective patient care in a range of clinical settings, having regard for relevant policies and evidence base nursing.
