Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be part of a high-performing group working on complex, critical infrastructure projects that keep the nation's networks connected and protected 24/7. As a NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician, you will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests and allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Who you are:

You have previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with people at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
