Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts to make a tangible impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work that helps build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

The successful candidate will report to the Duty Manager and will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at the Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and ensure station communication faults are reported and resolved.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre regarding tasks, fault updates, and completions.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
