Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical tasks that help keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved per procedures and KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management activities.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, preferably in a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising at all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
