Job summary

Cboe Global Markets in London seeks a seasoned NOC Engineer to support, operate, and optimize the reliability of our latency‑sensitive global network and cloud mix. You will design and run on‑prem and cloud connectivity, automate monitoring with Python and Claude Code, and participate in follow‑the‑sun coverage with a structured shift schedule.

Strong diagnostic and communication skills are essential. This role emphasizes incident response, root cause analysis, and cross‑team collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience in networking, cloud, and market data connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, routing, and security controls.
• Experience with API-based development for network automation.
• Ability to operate in a follow-the-sun support model.

Responsibilities

• Configure edge routing, customer infrastructure, and cloud network constructs.
• Provision, validate, and document cloud-hosted connectivity components.
• Collaborate with customer engineers and internal teams to test connectivity.
• Participate in weekend change windows and customer certification activities.
• Provide expert technical support to customers and sales teams.
• Monitor network telemetry and perform incident response to minimize MTTR.
• Develop automations using Python and Claude Code across monitoring systems.
