Zen Internet is seeking an experienced NOC Engineer to monitor, maintain, and improve our critical network infrastructure across consumer and business services. You'll work in a live network environment on a 24/7, 12-hour shift rotation and report to the NOC Shift Lead.

You will collaborate with Network and Infrastructure Engineers, manage incidents, apply changes, and drive service improvement through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in NOC or network operations.
• Knowledge of incident management and escalation processes.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance metrics.
• Experience working in a 24/7 shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Participating in a 24x7x365 shift rotation, providing continuous network monitoring and support.
• Ensuring stable, reliable operation of Zen's access, service, and core networks.
• Managing major incidents - coordinating response, communication, and resolution across internal teams and suppliers.
• Monitoring network and system performance using established tools, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Troubleshooting complex network faults across hardware and software layers.
• Applying configuration changes following approved change control processes.
• Installing, maintaining, and upgrading network hardware and software.
• Providing 3rd-line technical support for escalations from other departments.
• Maintaining accurate, high-quality documentation for projects, incidents, and processes.
• Handling tickets to a high standard.
