The Cadillac Formula 1® Team is seeking a No.2 Race Team Mechanic to lead the preparation, assembly, maintenance, and operation of assigned Formula 1® cars across the racing season. You will work with No.1 Mechanic, Engineers and trackside personnel to ensure peak quality, reliability and performance.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Mechanic in professional motorsport (F1®, F2®, FIA WEC, IMSA, IndyCar, Formula E).
• Hands-on involvement in assembly, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of high-performance race cars.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, engineering drawings, build procedures, and quality standards.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, service, maintain, inspect, and rebuild Formula 1® cars and components to quality standards.
• Complete build documentation, inspection records, lifing reports and checklists with full traceability.
• Perform planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, and root cause investigations to maximise performance.
• Support trackside mechanical operations including servicing, repairs, setup changes, and pit stops.
• Collaborate with No.1 Mechanics, Engineers, Drivers and Race Team to drive performance.
• Maintain race/test equipment, tooling, spares and event-related assets.
• Foster cross-functional relationships across trackside and factory teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and comply with health, safety and regulatory obligations.
