Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking a No.2 Race Team Mechanic to lead the preparation, assembly, and maintenance of assigned Formula 1® cars throughout the racing season. You will work closely with No.1 Mechanic, engineers, and trackside staff to ensure peak performance during race weekends and tests.

The role involves extensive international travel, live pit stop operations, fault diagnosis, repairs, and high-pressure onsite activity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanic in professional motorsport (F1®, F2®, WEC, IMSA, IndyCar, Formula E) with hands-on assembly, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, build procedures and quality standards.
• Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, trackside environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, service, maintain, inspect, and rebuild Formula 1® cars and sub-assemblies to specifications.
• Complete build documentation and maintain traceability across components.
• Perform planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, and root cause investigations.
• Support trackside operations including car servicing, pit stops, and event preparation.
• Collaborate with No.1 Mechanics, Engineers, and Drivers to enhance performance.
