Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team in Silverstone, United Kingdom, is seeking a No.1 Race Team Mechanic to lead the factory-based maintenance and development of pit equipment and race support systems. You will oversee builds, asset registers, and readiness plans, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Power Unit teams to ensure peak performance.

Based mainly at the factory, you may attend selected Formula 1 events to provide trackside support, with flexibility for travel.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as No.1/No.2 Race Team Mechanic in Formula 1.
• Experience leading complex mechanical projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead build and maintenance of pit equipment and race team systems.
• Coordinate race car builds at the factory and at races when required.
• Maintain asset registers, service schedules and inventory controls.
• Support factory pit stop practice sessions and equipment readiness.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design Office, and Power Unit stakeholders.
