Job summary

Williams Heritage in Witney is seeking a Heritage No 2 Mechanic / Technician to join the team responsible for planning, preparation and build of Formula One cars and subcomponents, both at our Witney site and at events around the world.

You will work primarily from the factory, with regular travel to client events, and maintain the car, equipment and workshop to an elite, client-facing standard while updating departmental databases and documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience of full F1 or equivalent single-seater build and strip-down.
• Knowledge of torque and quality control processes.
• Ability to operate pit/garage equipment to safety standards.
• Experience in motorsport and a full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, prepare, build and service F1 cars and pit equipment to spec.
• Work mainly from the factory with travel to client events.
• Maintain cars and garage to elite, client-facing standards and log lifing data.
• Identify missing components and oversee repairs through Williams processes.
