Job summary

Randstad CPE in Berkshire seeks a Senior Site Manager / No. 1 Site Manager to own day-to-day delivery from groundworks to handover on live schemes valued between 2M and 8M. You will work with a respected regional main contractor known for education, civic builds and heritage refurbishments.

You will lead on-site teams, maintain QA, manage sub-contractor relations, and drive health and safety performance while liaising with clients and authorities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as No.1 Site Manager leading complete schemes.
• Experience in high-spec refurbishments or new build projects.
• Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors to tight QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Full Site Ownership: drive programmes, RAMS, inductions, daily coordination.
• Quality & finishes: maintain high-spec standards on finishes and architecture packages.
• Client & stakeholder liaison: lead meetings with schools, authorities, and clients.
• H&S leadership: ensure safety, environmental compliance and site logistics.
