Qualifications

• PhD in synthetic chemistry or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of LC/HPLC/UPLC data including MS/UV-Vis/ELSD.
• Experience interpreting 1H-NMR data.
• Solid understanding of organic chemistry and reaction outcomes.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts including evenings/weekends.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Review 1H-NMR spectra and UPLC-MS traces against expected outcomes.
• Process a high throughput of samples per shift.
• Work a rotating shift including evenings and weekends.
• Flag ambiguous spectra to senior scientists for review.
• Maintain accurate records in line with SOPs.
• Follow SOPs and quality procedures for data review and support investigations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to refine interpretation guidelines.
