University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Band 5 Nurse to join the Haemodialysis unit at Leicester South. NMC UK registration is required; prior renal/haemodialysis experience is desirable but not essential as full in-house training will be provided.

The role supports Shared Haemodialysis Care and aligns with our trust values and quality standards. Shifts include early, early long day, late, late long day and night patterns.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC UK
• Experience in renal/haemodialysis is desirable but not essential
• Commitment to Trust values and high-quality patient care

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of evidence-based nursing care for a group of patients
• Assist in and contribute to management and organisation of a ward/clinical area
• Maintain high standards of quality nursing care
• Participate in the education, development and supervision of other staff members
• Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet patients' and families' needs
• Act as a clinical/professional role model, mentoring, assessing and supporting students on placement
