Ingka External is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Peterborough to support goods receipt, picking, packing and stock control within a busy distribution centre. You will operate forklift equipment and handle items safely while adhering to safety standards.

The role is full-time with 40 hours per week, night shifts from 10pm to 6am, and shift allowances included. Benefits cover discount, life assurance and pension contributions.

WHAT WE OFFER

• The Start Date of employment will be: 11th November 2026
• This role offers an hourly rate of £13.45 plus a Fork Lift Truck Driving allowance of £1.50 per hour.
• Nightshift allowance of £2.25 per hour applies for hours worked between 10pm and 6am.
• Full Time: 40 hours working 5 shifts per week including alternate weekends.
• The shift times for this roles are set working from 10pm until 6am.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

• Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail.
• Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• You are prepared to act on your own initiative and to participate in group efforts.
• Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

• Receiving goods with accuracy, picking and packing orders and keeping accurate records of stock levels.
• Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
• Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
• You will be required to manually handle all of our products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes using safe manual handling practices and appropriate assistive equipment.
