Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is hiring a Cleaning and Waste Operative to work in a warehouse environment. You will perform general cleaning, maintain washrooms and canteens, and ensure equipment is clean and safe.

The role requires liaising with the client, following Health & Safety policies, and may involve a Basic Disclosure Check and drug/alcohol screening. Training is provided. The position is permanent with a 19:00–07:00 shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) and a £13.88 per hour rate.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual.
• No experience necessary as full training will be provided.
• Willingness to complete a Basic Disclosure Check and potentially a drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all warehouse areas including washrooms and canteens.
• Use cleaning equipment, materials and products to maintain hygiene.
• Manage waste disposal and respond to client call-outs in line with Health & Safety policies.
