Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring a Cleaning and Waste Operative for a warehouse environment. You will perform general cleaning, maintain washrooms and canteens, and use cleaning equipment and products.

You must react to client call-outs and follow Health & Safety policies; full training provided. This permanent role offers a structured 4-on-4-off night shift from 19:00 to 07:00 with a starting hourly rate of £13.88.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Flexible in approach to role and able to work as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a Basic Disclosure Check and may be asked to take drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and tidying of all warehouse areas, including washrooms and canteens.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning products safely.
• Ensure equipment is clean, maintained and safe; assist with waste disposal.
