Job description

At the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, our passionate team designs, develops, manufactures, and races cars to compete for world championships each year. We work across Operations, Technical, Race, and Business Support functions, all striving to build the greatest team in our sport's history.

Every individual contributes to our success, and we meticulously pursue every tenth of a second. Our sport's rich history motivates us to continue our journey with renewed effort each year. While record books remember a few names, our story is written by many.

About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Nightshift Storesperson to join our dynamic Stores team. The night shift runs Monday to Thursday onsite in Brackley, from 20:00 (8 pm) to 06:30 in the morning.

This role is vital in maintaining the efficiency, accuracy, and cleanliness of our stores operations, with a focus on stock control and component distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate stock levels and records.
  2. Pick and prepare orders for various departments, including Race Team spares.
  3. Perform regular stock counts and inventory checks.
  4. Serve internal customers promptly and professionally.
  5. Process incoming parts from ‘Goods In’ through to Inspection.
  6. Distribute inspected parts to the appropriate departments.
  7. Support logistics for events, including Hand Carry assistance.
  8. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  9. Provide support to other departments as needed.
Candidate profile:
  1. Previous experience in a general stores or warehouse environment.
  2. Willingness to undertake forklift training (if not already certified).
  3. Eligibility to complete Known Consignor Training, including a verifiable 5-year background history.
  4. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
  5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Flexible, reliable, and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
What We’re Looking For:

We value a can-do attitude, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset. If you thrive in a high-pressure environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of organisation and efficiency, we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits:

Our riverside campus is powered by 100% renewable energy and features an on-site gym, exercise studio, subsidised restaurant, and on-site parking with EV chargers. We offer a competitive benefits package including a generous bonus scheme, Mercedes car lease scheme, private medical cover, life assurance, and 25 days holiday. We pride ourselves on a family-friendly environment and employee well-being programs.

Why us:

Our people are at the core of our performance. We foster an innovative, collaborative, high-performance culture where everyone is respected, empowered, and valued. Through our Accelerate 25 program, we are committed to increasing diversity and inclusion. We believe your background will find working with us rewarding and enriching.
