Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager for nightshift at the Stevenage store. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a starting salary of £31,700 and a £4,500 nightshift premium, working 21:00–07:00 over 4 nights.

You will lead a team overnight to ensure replenishment, stock organisation and safe operations, then hand over a well-prepared store in the morning to serve customers. Strong people management and KPI focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Desirable - has worked night shifts in a high-volume, operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store whilst prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse and replenishing shelves.
• Often, you get to run a full store operation on your own overnight being responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store
• Making sure that standards are brilliant come morning so we're ready to serve our customers
• People management is a big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
