Come and join our friendly Operations Team in Dumfries, where everyone is welcome, and the culture is warm and welcoming! We have an open position available on our Nightshift Team, this is a full-time opportunity.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday - 11.00pm - 7.30am
• Thursday - 11.00pm - 3.00am
• Sunday - 9.30pm - 7.30am

More about the role:

As an Operations Assistant at Covetrus, you will have the opportunity to become multiskilled in various departments. Your responsibilities include handling goods in the warehouse, such as receipt, locating, replenishing, counting, picking, checking, packing, and dispatching, as well as setting up new products. You will also process customer sales orders and returns accurately and timely, investigate variances when necessary. You may work across different departments, with duties including:

• Inventory Control: Conduct daily stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Manual Handling: Use of manual handling equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting pallets/boxes.
• Warehouse Operations: Maintain cleanliness, adhere to safety standards, pick and pack customer orders, and ensure quality checks.

About You:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Experience in warehouse environments is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and ability to count stock accurately.
• Full driving license.

Education and Skills:

• Basic literacy and numeracy.
• Basic computer literacy.
